New lens!  Got myself an 85mm f1.8 and I'm stoked.  I can't wait to play with it.

I know I've mentioned that it's really cold.  Several times.  In a row.  But it is, in fact, really cold.  And I have to work outside in all types of weather so I contend with the cold on a regular basis.  Today I did live shots at 5, 6 and 10, all outside.  Along with the sweater, thin coat and thick coat, hat, hood and gloves I wore, I also had on my long johns, jeans and fleece lined wind pants.

Went home sick.  Started the day okay, but went downhill as soon as I got active.  Petey forced me to go home and he was right.  I spent the night eating crackers and drinking sprite.

Went to work today.  I turned down an invitation to karaoke because I still don't feel well.  I just wanted to go home after work, but the lack of food situation forced me to make a grocery run.  Grocery shopping at 11pm is fantastic.  I get in and out so fast.

Snowshoes

First test of my new snowshoes!  I spent an hour in the woods four miles from my house.  One of the many reasons I love Minneapolis; there are woods within sight of the downtown skyline.
