Went to the capitol.  Working in news, I've gotten used to being around when things happen.  I thought of all the great photos I could get and knew I couldn't sit at home and let the opportunity pass.

Good morning, Park Rapids!  It's time to fish!  It was cold and so windy.  I shot live hits for the morning show and video of the governor getting on his boat then I went back to the hotel and stood in a hot shower for 20 minutes to warm up.

My half marathon.  I finished in 2:13 - two minutes faster than my goal and 25 minutes faster than my previous time.  Woo!

Day after the race and I'm hobbling around.  Jamie and I got some ice cream and sat in the sun.

Post race self medicating.  I got a massage, which was AMAZING.  Then I tortured myself by sticking my foot in a bucket of ice water.  It's less fun than it looks.
