A couple friends hired me to take photos for them today.  I enjoy taking portraits, but I'm also slightly intimidated by them.

Got sent to a runway fashion show.  I'm totally glamorous at Glamorama sporting my station polo and a pony tail.

A red carpet!  For me?  No, not for me at all.  Once again I'm in shorts and sandals and everyone else is dressed to the nines.  What I lack in style, I hope I make up for in enthusiasm.

Post run

Sometimes, in the middle of a run, I hate running.  Every time, after a run, I love running.  When it's hard, I get better - I try and tell myself that when I feel awful and am cursing every step.  Some days it's hard get out the door, but I've never regretted going for a run.  Even on the hard days I'm glad I tried.

Remember the other day when I said I was training for the Duathlon?  Well, I think I've decided to focus on improving my time for the TC 10 mile in October instead.  I haven't spent enough time on the bike this summer to feel comfortable racing on it.

I'm finished with my current curtain project - four curtain panels for the two windows in my living room.  Not hard, but tedious.  Only a couple things to do in the living room and I can move on to a different space.  I think the dining room is next.

The sport

On Monday I went through with my plan to move my TV out of my living room and into the basement.  On Tuesday I realized that the Olympics were starting this week.  I love the Olympics.  I'll watch any sport - swimming, gymnastics, field hockey, archery - if they put it on TV, I'm there.

This morning I set the TV up in my dining room and watched cycling.  And rowing.  And water polo.  I love it.
