Chris and I finished our trek. 26 miles(ish) in 3 days. A truly great hike. Something I've wanted to do for a long time.

Top of Pike's Peak! I drove it. I didn't climb it.

I had a long run today and decided to take it easy with a little shopping and browsing in Denver.

Pre-lunch ice cream. Tonight was Frank Turner night. His show was killer.

Lots of driving. More and more driving. 9 hours of driving to Omaha. Thankfully my friends Andy and Jenny were there to greet me. I was in Omaha for only 10 minutes before Andy made sure I had a cocktail in my hand. Now that's an excellent host.

A Danish windmill in Elkhorn, Iowa. I drove 12 miles out of the way to see this. The billboards on the highway were too convincing. My thoughts: I may be headed home, but I'm still on vacation. Who cares when I get back to Minneapolis?
