- is being eaten by Japanese beetles. Unfortunately it's not Japanese BEATles... That would be much cooler. Imagine for a moment, a Beatles cover band made up of four Japanese musicians playing "I Wanna Hold Your Hand," while simultaneously chewing holes in rose petals. Can you see it?
So the rose garden is being eaten by these beetles. I was there to shoot a live shot for the 6pm show. That guy in the photo was shooting photos for an online news outlet. So yeah. Beetles. Not Beatles.
