A shift change request from a coworker opened up a small window for me to get up to the north shore. I've been thinking about getting up there for the fall colors since August. After this weekend, the leaves will be past peak and I was already pushing it going this late. Sure, I've been away from home a lot this past month, but when the opportunity presents itself, you go. And I did. And you can see why.
