Victory Memorial Drive is the country's largest WWI memorial. It is three miles of green space and bike paths dotted with plaques honoring fallen soldiers from Hennepin county - 568 in total. On Memorial Day, flags fly above each of these markers. Quite a sight.
The boys loved seeing the flags near your house. They said they were baby flags. Reece proclaimed them "so cute!"
